I would examine the reasons everyone thinks he's wrong for you. There may be something to what they have to say. But on the other hand, sometimes you have to follow your heart and everyone else can be wrong.

If the reasons they think he's wrong for you are out of concern for your safety, you should probably listen to them. If they're reasons are because they think you're just too different, give it a shot. Different can be good! You owe it to yourself to find out! Good luck!

Its the balance of listening to your heart and your head. Don't be so romantically minded that you cannot see the thing objectively, but don't be so intellectual that you cannot hear what your heat says. Do you love him?? That's what matters the most!! But, at the same time, why are people telling you he wouldn't be right for you? Is there any truth to their reasoning, and can you think beyond the scope of your passion when you give it consideration?

I agree with the one who said listen to others. Or atleast listen to someone you know well like a mother or best friend. My friends always seem to have a good judge of character of other people....so I listen to them. If others see he is wrong for you, you might not see it when your in love. Love is blind!

If all of your close friends thinks he is wrong for you, he probably is. They are thinking of your relationship from a view point you don't see. You are so infatuated with this guy that you haven't found his downfalls yet though your friends have. Listen to them and make sure you know WHY they think he is wrong for you.

Do what you want because you know if he is right for you or not. When me and my now husband met my mother couldn't stand him. SHe forbid me to see him and my whole family was against me seeing him. Well when I turned 18 we left and got married been together for 4 yeas and I love him to death. And eventually my mother did come around to see he is a good man. Good Luck with this one. You know what you really want and whats best for you. Just ignore the talk even if it is family.

Take their advice. Love, or thinking you are in love, will blind you from the truth.
I had at least 20 people warned me and I didn't listen and now I have to pay the consequences.

If you're talking about people that love and care about you, listen to them. When you think you're in love you can be blind to a lot of things that other people can see. If these people care about you, they are trying to protect you, not prevent you from loving someone.

Date him anyway and judge for yourself. If you let others pick out your boy friend or even run your life you will not be happy. Decide for yourself what is important to you. It is OK to have others input but let the final decision be yours.

All you can do is fallow your own heart, you need to look inside yourself and figure out what you really think about this boy. Not what others think.

take a good long look at WHY they don't like him! sometimes those close to u can see something that u can't! sometimes we can get blinded by what we want a person to be like. find out why they don't and see if maybe they're the ones that are right about him!
