i let a friend drive a car i had now the deal was since everything was still in my name and i still owe the dealer she would keep up the payments she got the car 2-24-06 and has not paid anything since 3-22-06 was i mwong 4 going 2 get the car without notice or i should have warned her

My sister is getting married and we seem to get in a fight about everything. Her best friend is the maid of honor and she is a total idiot and I can't stand her. She isn't realistic and is giving my sister completely wrong advice. I have never gone through a wedding bfore, but I don at least have some common sense. The wedding is about 5 or less weeks away and we still don't have shoes or decorations. She hasn't even gone to the florist yet. The bridal shower is on a wednesday evening at 6:30...how pointless. The invitations didn't go out until less than 2 weeks before the actual date and people are supposed to RSVP by tomorrow...only 1 person has so far. My sister is still very young and is really thinking irrationally. I don't know what to do because every time I try to tell her something she get really mad and won't talk to me for 2+ weeks. I can't stand what this is doing to us, we used to be so close. What should I do?

Ex and I dated off and on for 2 years. First three times I broke up with her, but this time she broke up with me. She always wanted the relationship to work, but thinks that we have no future due to differences in what we want for the future (e.g. kids). A recent family tragedy has made me see things differently, though, and I want her back. We still talk amost every day, but she is going on dates with someone else. I have made pleas to get her back -- in person I gain some ground (she is younger and can be persuaded sometimes) but on the phone she stands strong. She doesn't believe me when I say I have changed because I have said that before. But this time I mean it. I thought about giving her space, but that is not a good option with this girl. I'll do anything (within the bounds of the law) to get her back.

I've heard of a situation where a couple see each other but one of them is married. In this case they decide to talk to one another and go out but yet try not to get feelings involved. I don't quite seem to understand how you can be with a person for so much but yet have any kind of affection towards them.

My daughter is a great kid and has made some good choices in grade 7. But there are these girls that are in the popualer group and are smoking ,drinking, sexualy active and some are cutters.
We live in a small town and everyone know everyone.
My daughter says they are her friends and hands out with them in school., I never let this go any farther.What bothers me is that she cant understand that they will ruinin her rep and i just dont want her to hang with sleezy kids.
Am i wrong and what can i do ?
Please help a mother in need of advice.

Okay I'm trying to understand what makes real sense on this subject. On occasion maybe we send some hot pics back abd forth when we're not in the same place, the kind you find on sexy sites, pic sites (not date or connect sites) we play and do a bit of teasing. Now the issue is that he may be looking at sex sites and it can be very uncomfortable I think. A porn site has women posing and no details and contact info... no sexual desire details...lol! Also how would you feel if your mate was on both sites sex & dating before he met you (we're together 3 years) and met women who came here and spent a nite with him. Would you be ok with him calling them friends and maintaining contact with them...via phone and net? Honestly do how you feel about the sites, are they healthy to look on. Do you think that if I'm uncomfortable with it, it's INSECURITY or LACK OF TRUST? Are sites & looking alone at them a threat? Do they add any thing positive to the relationship Opinions please! :)

Our families live about 1200 miles apart, and it's been really hard trying to figure out what's best for everyone. Neither side is very wealthy, so if the wedding is not within a reasonable driving distance, some people will not be able to attend. I always thought that the bride's hometown was the default location, but she doesn't want to negelect my family either. I said Vegas, but that was shot down rather quickly...

ever liked a guy, and i mean really like, only to learn that he can't or won't get serious with you you because of your child (children)?

i know some guys will say it's because of the EX, but in my situation, me and my ex get along great and their is no animosity. i would not let any man get to know my son until i really get to know him, no matter how long that may take.

i wonder why guys discriminate like this? in my experience it is the single mothers who have the harder time dating than the single fathers who don't even have their child or (children) living with them.

does anyone agree?

I have been with my man for 6.5 years. His daughter is 7, we recently got custody of her because her mom is a drug addict and is now in prison. We always spent time with her growing up but now more and more she is getting on my nerves; that she is around all the time and bugging and comes to me rather than her dad for everything, she doesnt listen, has no respect, no common sense. Him and I talk about it but it is hard when we have only had her a year. I will not discipline her because she is not mine. Mainly if she was my kid, she would not be the way she is because she would've been raised differently. I want to be able to love her and be a good role model for her, and accept her for who and what she is, but it is so hard when I know that she was conceived by someone that is so sickening.
She is not mine. Should him and I have a child of our own as well, or do we just try to fix her and give her the family environment she always needed and if so HOW DO I DO IT AND KEEP MY SANITY!
