My husbands ex wife has a balance of about 25k to pay on their divorce settlement and she refuses to pay even though we have paid off the complete balance of their marraige debt how can we make sure she pays without it lasting too much longer its already been 8 years

Get an attorney and get her into court now before she spends it all.
I have been waiting on a settlement since 1998 and will never see a dime of it, because he already spent it on himself and his new wife.

Get an attorney so they can put it through the court and put a lien on her paycheck or property. That way it comes directly out of her check before she even gets a chance to get it in her grubby paws.
