My 10 yr old son came to live with me about 6 months. His father has taken a path of addiction. Being a recovering addict myself. I know the harm addiction cause for families. However, my son asked to come live with me and of course I said yes. I am happy he has choosen this. He has no contact with his father. The closes contact he has with his father is his grandparents. Now he is asking me to live with his grandparents. I told him no, but he won't let up. I don't want him to go. He seems so sad here in my home. Should I let him go? Would that make me a bad parent?

Well this shy girl I have known for 10 years and I talked to her a couple months ago for an hour. I don't see her often and since we talked I have seen her twice but I didn't get the chance to say hi but I think shes really cute. How do you cope with that? I don't know what it is like to have a closeness with my family because my stupid stepdad is always around. I can't stand anything about him. He treated me so bad as a kid and took every bit of dignity and self respect I had. He even forced me to call him DAD. I was with my boyfriend for 7.5 years. We broke up a year ago. It is only hitting me now. He has another girlfriend and it is getting quite serious.
