I had a great and loving relationship with my grandparents and feel very blessed to have known them. I only have one grandmother left now. My childhood memories contain a lot of involvement with grandparents. My mother never got to know her grandparents and feels bad about that after seeing how much ours meant to us.

No, on account that they live hundreds of miles away from me and I only see them once every couple of years. I do speak with them on the phone though but it's obviously not the same.

Yeah, I do because they were the only ones that were there for me when I was growing up - and even still now. My dad was an alcoholic and my mom (who I lived with) didn't give a crap about me and still doesn't.

I did with my mom's parents, but not my dad's. We were closer to my mom's family. Family values were different and now I learned that my dad's family didn't like my mom. So maybe that is why we didn't go there much.
