I asked a dating questiong a while ago and a few ladies and fellas were like don't pay for everything. I tried that once and she never called back. I only did so that she wouldn't feel pressure at the end of the night to hook up with me because I paid for everything. Something like I'll get the movie tickets you get popcorn. After that bad experience I just pay, does that sound kosher or am I a little foolish there. I'm not trying to impress but at the same time there is a little pride that comes with picking up the bill. I don't know help me out here?

My father in law is about to go through a divorce. His wife has been unfaithful many times and taken her back many times. She has a drinking problem and he keeps trying to help her. She just cheated again and they are now divorcing. Is there any chance he wont get messed over with alamony since they have been married so long. She is going to try and take him for everything and he has been good to her. She has a parttime job and will not get a fulltime job when she is fully qualified to get one and suppoert herself. I guess the question is does he have to get the short end of the stick on this since he isnt the bad guy here.

a very gd frend..u care abt him...and evn he cares abt u a lot..bn there with u always in gd& bad times..bt u somehow feel that u cant make a gd couple in future...reason bein that he is too self content and in this friendship/relationship...u dnt feel wanted/needed....he doesnt feel ur void if u nt around...bt at the same time claims that he loves u....and he is genuine when he says that...and evn u strongly feel he is a good human being...is it possible to have a succesful and balanced relationship with him???

I lost touch with a dear friend, whom I met in Hong Kong in 1989. He was English & used to be a trader there. Obviously, I tried web-searching (Google/Yahoo!, etc.) but nothing. I also tried People Finder & Names Database, but have had no luck. What other avenues can I pursue? I really need the help - I want to reconnect with my old friend! Thanks!

Sometimes when my boyfriend and I are having a conversation, he will take a deep breath before answering a question. I know it's not because his answer is going to be really long and needs the air. My dad in a joking manor would refer to us as "turd knockers" when we were young. He recently called one of my daughters a "turd Knocker" and I asked him what it meant. He didn't know. He said that his grandfather use to call he and his brothers and sister that. He said it just comes out of his mouth without even thinking. He also said when his grandpa would call them "turd knockers" he did it with a smile. What on earth does "turd knocker" mean? If anyone knows please indulge me. Thanks.

I'll put it simply - I like Adam and when I told Bob, a guy I work with, he got into asking funny things and saying wierd like "he's a dud" and "why adam" and "there are other guys" and "you only like his name". I haven't known Bob as well or as long as Adam - but they are both popular with all the ladies, especially Bob. He has fan club (no joke).
Then he asked me who I thought was better looking! I didn't give a real answer - but I've always felt something about Bob and I don't kno - can he be jealous? Is it possible Bob wants me?
