how do you feel about sitting with the elderly on a 24hr. basis. what would you do?

I used to work in a nursing home and fortunately, most elderly people don't require 24/7 care, just need help every now in then.
The exception to that is Alzheimers, where there mind is going faster than their body. It is impossible to do it alone and you would either need to work out shifts with other relatives or hire a caregiver for at least a few times a week to get away from it.
If their body is also failing them, almost no choice but to find a suitable nursing home.

hire a nurse
I dont think you should work 24 hours .7 days a week it will make you crazy.
