Actually the phrase is 'knocked up', but some people misuse the phrase to 'banged up'. It means getting pregnant.

lol..it's not stupid especially if your young. There was a time when I didn't know what it meant either and I wish the phrase didn't exist! It means getting pregnant.....

Some would say it sex wise, little would say it drug wise. There are some that say it, when they beat up on someone. Aslo that your pregnant. But knock up is heard more.
