I lost touch with a dear friend, whom I met in Hong Kong in 1989. He was English & used to be a trader there. Obviously, I tried web-searching (Google/Yahoo!, etc.) but nothing. I also tried People Finder & Names Database, but have had no luck. What other avenues can I pursue? I really need the help - I want to reconnect with my old friend! Thanks!

Maybe you can try contacting trading associations like Hong Kong Trade Development Council (http://www.tdctrade.com/) and The Hong Kong Exporters' Association (HKEA) (http://www.exporters.org.hk/). Your friend could be a member.
