Why do you have trouble believing? If a guy has lied to you before, then I can see having a trust issue with him...however don't disbelieve every guy you meet because some OTHER guy lied to you. Give people the benefit of the doubt, until they give you reason to feel otherwise...you'll never get very far with folks (esp romance) if you mistrust everything that's said...

...conversely, that doesn't mean be gullible and swallow every word whole...but use your common sense, withhold judgement until you feel you know them a bit...if something sounds fishy, ask about it...if you don't get a reply that feels good to you, then maybe that's a red flag...but don't mistrust immediately, just because someone is male...

You feel the way you do, maybe for good reason, maybe because of past results with men. It is good to be suspicious, yet it can also undermine a good thing with someone who is totaly trustworthy. Trust has to start somewhere, sometime, and with someone. Good luck to you.

Been married 6 times and believe me they all lie so I just put up a wall inside myself not to get hurt anymore! That suspicion is your inner voice telling you the truth always trust it!!! It very well may save your life one day!!! It saved mine and my two children! My husband now, I told up front, NEVER LIE TO ME and you will always have my trust, mess around on me once and consider me gone forever! NO second chances!!!

when you face the issues about your father. Your problem is not about men. It's probably about the original authority figure. Check out your relationship to dad, there, you will probably find the source of the mistrust.

If you constantly believe that people are going to let you down they will. Trust your self and maybe you can give others the benefit of the doubt!

I am suspicious of most men. Trustworthy one are few and far between; when you find one he will have to prove himself to you and then you will learn to trust him. Good luck.

You need to have trust and self confidence honey. Never mistrust a person who has never given you the reason to doubt them.
