Is it possible for a person to marry a U.S. citizen inside the U.S. while on vacation (without any type of fiance/spouse visa)?

If so, would the person be elgible to remain in the U.S. indefinitely, or would a special visa still be required?

My boyfriend of almost 6 years left me and my son last week and i`m heart broken,feel sick,cant sleep and hardly eating,i just want to stop feeling like this,one minute i hate his guts and the next i want him back desperately.People tell me to go out and enjoy myself again as i`m only 24 but the thought of being with someone else makes me feel sick and the thought of him being with someone makes me want to kill him!It`s not as if i`m never going to see him again as he still wants to be in contact with our son but the thought of him coming over then watching him walk out the door again kills me,i just dont think i`ll be able to handle it,please help

i'm cute, but i'm not "hot." i know this, and that's fine. i dress nicely, wear my hair/makeup nicely, have a good personality and work hard. i know i have things to offer a man. i am dating a wonderful guy. he's absolutely gorgeous to me and i know a lot of other women want him. he's the nicest, sweetest guy i have ever dated. i guess my question is - guys - if you are dating a gal who is considered pretty d-mn good in all aspects except looks, would you ditch her for the chance to be with a super hot chick? or would you overlook the super hot chicks to stay with someone you get along with?
