I don't see why not. I do know that the Bible commands us to be merciful to single parents and orphans, so I guess what you are thinking of doing would fall into that category.

If you mean adoption or raising someone else's child, it is a work of charity. God wants us to love one another and especially the little children. Raising a child alone has challenges, but if it is God's will that you raise a child while not married, he will give you the strength and wisdom to do so. Be sure that you receive the child through legal means.
God bless.

Well as far as giving birth to a child while single that is wrong. You are not supposed to have sex while unmarried. But if you are given the responsibility of a child ie someone else's child then I would say God would smile upon you.

There are so many children that need love, and God has given you love for children. Of course two parents is the ideal, but one is way better than none. That's common sense talking and common sense is a God-given gift.
There is a book you might enjoy reading. I realize it's for a younger audience, but I thoroughly enjoyed it when I read it years ago, and your question brought it to mind: "Raising a Mother isn't Easy" by Elisabet McHugh.
It's fine to pray for this...God will do as He sees best.

Make sure, whatever you pray for, you are sprecific! Don't take for granted God doesn't ahve a sense of humor. One night, my wife prayed for rain....we got thunderstorms the next day. Onew night, she prayed for a little rain. It drizzled for 1 minute and stopped. If you just pray for a child....oh, you might get one, but it might not be what you wanted.....so pour on the details.

I would think so...I don't think the bible says anything specific about that particular situation, but nowadays it would be a blessing for one of the many unwanted children out there to find a good and loving parent! Good luck I will be praying for you also!
