My son is 9 and his father and i have been divorced for 1 1/2 yrs. He loves his dad (who is a alcoholic, drug abuser) and im sure his dad loves him to, but my son doesnt get to see his dad but 2-3 times a month and when he does its only for a short while (1 hr at most) his father has a girl friend as i do a boyfriend my son loves them both. His dad has always been his everything. Dad breaks promises to him all the time and my son just is so depressed all the time (he also has adhd and odd) no matter what i say to my son he doesnt understand why his dad doesnt "love" him i am at my end i hate seeing my son so upset. People tell me i should keep my son away from his dad until he grows up but i dont know if that will devistate my son please help

then i e-mailed her back and said yea yea watever
was that too harsh?

why would you want to wait until your 30 to have akid? then youll be49-50 when and if your kid graduates.

then youll probably be 60 by the time they get married if that soon probably not if your 30 and just having a child.

by the time there kids are older youll be dead and wont get to meet them anyways??

why would you do this to your child?

My parets got divorced October 17 2005. I really have been ok with it and stuff but lately it has been getting to me...i Am with my mom sat. at noon to tue. at 6 pm. And the rest with my dad. I live in 2 really great houses but idk my mom lets me do more and my dad is so protective and all he does is yell at me for every little thing.... IDK should i go with my mom the whole time? My fiance and I want to be married mid September of this year. We will most likely be married in Las Vegas and have the reception back at home. However, I don't know where to begin in order to plan this quickly. Do I have the reception a week or two later? How should I do the invitations? Our main thing is to keep the price low. This sounds like an easy question but it's not. My husband and I had been, ahem, "around the block" quite a few times before meeting each other, and now it all seems so "been there done that". It's a very special relationship, but when it comes to sex we hit a blank wall. We're both over 40 and I can't come up with anything new! It's very frustrating, and getting to a point where we're losing our libido. Has anybody heard about this problem? I haven't seen or heard about it at all! Please tell me there's hope!!! I have a 6 & 8 year old. I have been divorced about 3 years and my kids live with me. In keeping with tradition, I still allow my boys to go away each summer with my ex's parents. His parents go for 2 weeks, I let the kids stay for 1 week....there is no way for the kids to contact me during that week. Each year there is an argument over why they can't stay 2 weeks. They are good to my children, but let the kids do whatever they want. When my kids come back after only a day with them, they are demanding,rude, & cranky from being spoiled.....so you can imagine after a whole week. My in-laws, mind you, sometimes talk to me, sometimes ignore me, so things aren't exactly warm & friendly anymore.....but I dont' want to punish my children for that, so I let them go. Don't you think that no matter WHAT the circumstances, a week is more than enough for kids that age to be away from parents? They tell the kids, "we want you to stay, but mommy says no." I want to say no vacation at all!
