My friend is the coolest, she's just afraid of all the situations above but she is so great and one of the very few girls in my life that I feel confident is worth my time spent on her.

Please Respond To The Question As If You Were Answering To Her. Thank you!

I myself am not a woman, so therefore not a lesbian.

I think she needs to see a councilor to realize her choice of a lesbian lifestyle is at the root of her problems. She obviously is uncomfortable with what she has labeled herself as so therefore will not take part in any activities that would cement her as so. I wish her luck, as it seems to be a growing fad to choose to live ones life this way.

There's nothing wrong with being single. Everyone is born single, and some people stay that way all their lives. If you don't want to be in a relationship, then you shouldn't be in one. You'll just hurt someone else, and maybe get hurt yourself.

Maybe some day, you'll want to be in a relationship. Fine, there's plenty of fish in the sea, but if you don't know what you want, it's pretty hard to get what you want, and sometimes it isn't worth the effort. When you're ready for sex, or girls, or boys, or commitment, or love, or people, you can go and get it. Until then, a friendly, "Sorry, but I'm not looking for that sort of thing right now" should be enough. If not, "excuse me, but I want you to get the F away from me" usually does the trick.

you will get hurt if you search for these things. it'll suck and you'll wish you never ever even tried to look for love. but in then end, you'll never know what true love is without experiencing the true pain of a lonesome heart. either you put yourself out there or reserve yourself to living in the closet for life. do you wanna be one of those crazy cat ladies?

Well if your a lesbian maybe you should go out with her and try doing those things with her and see if that would make her open to those things you listed that shes afraid of. If you arnt a lesbian then maybe just try to convince her that those things are shouldnt be afriad of if you chose to be a lez. Or just tell her to go back liking men. Girls having sex is juct wrong...And if she is afriad of love how come she likes girls then.... ask her that.

Live with it, we are all different and if this is the way she feels then she shouldn't force herself to change.
