Yes, all people are liars. Truth is a perception, not a congruent reality. Take for example four people who see the same accident.
They all have a different opinion about what really happened. Are they liars or do they just have a different truth? Humans have a sin nature and sometimes people lie out of kindness in order not to hurt someone's feelings, is that ok, a lie? A white lie? HMMM?
Yes all people are liars, some are good liars and some are bad liars~Smiles!

It begins when a small child asks if the picture they drew is good. Then you are asked by a friend if his new baby is beautiful. We become well practiced in the art of skillful dodging for kindness. The problem isn't lying. The problem is what the person is trying to accomplish by lying. If you catch someone in a harmful lie, it is a gift. You can now see the person clearer. And perhaps you need to adjust who you're spending time with.

Yes, we are. The human conditon is very frail when it comes to self preservation, wether this is due to physical or emotional repsonses. It is just human nature to lie to save face, or to fulfill an unlterior motive that a person feels is imperitive to their well being at the time the lie was told. I would hope that for the most part we don't ALL lie compulsivley, only minimally.

I think some people honestly strive to tell the truth...BUT.....Here's the dilemma....
A woman is banging on your door and when you open it she says a mad man is trying to kill her and begs you to hide her....
of course you oblige her ....
10 minutes later a man comes to the door looking for this woman..he has a crazed look in his eyes........do you tell him where she is.........OR .....do you "lie" and say you haven't seen her??????????....
At some point in time we all have or will have to lie ......but I don't necessarily think its always a bad thing.... I'm not lying

To some degree I'd have to say yes. Who never ever lies? But some people can be quite persistent and toxic about it.

For anyone to say they haven't lied at one time or the other would be a lie.No matter what degree of lying it is, we have all done it.
