i'm cute, but i'm not "hot." i know this, and that's fine. i dress nicely, wear my hair/makeup nicely, have a good personality and work hard. i know i have things to offer a man. i am dating a wonderful guy. he's absolutely gorgeous to me and i know a lot of other women want him. he's the nicest, sweetest guy i have ever dated. i guess my question is - guys - if you are dating a gal who is considered pretty d-mn good in all aspects except looks, would you ditch her for the chance to be with a super hot chick? or would you overlook the super hot chicks to stay with someone you get along with?

okay, my answer to this question is going to be pretty similar to another one i answered before (what do guys notice first looks or personality).
now, looks are important because they are what first gets our attention. but it's not what makes a guy stay with a girl. your personality counts for a LOT. when a guy gets to know a girl, the little things (i.e. her personal quirks) can make her seem cuter or more beautiful in our eyes. it can also make a very attractive girl less attractive if she has a bad personality. so given a choice who would i want to be with?
with the cute girl who is not hot but who i've gotten to know and care about... who has funny mannerisms that make me smile and want to kiss or hug her when she does something cute, who i'm happy with and makes me feel lucky that i know her... who compliments me in so many respects and can tell what mood i'm in, who knows when to try to cheer me up, and when to leave me alone. the girl i care about and my best friend all wrapping in one nice package.... or a stunningly attractive girl that i know absolutely nothing about...
i'd count myself lucky to have found the girl i'm with. after all, when it comes to the dating game, the winner isn't the person who finds the supermodel... it's the one who finds that 'someone' who compliments you and makes you happy. dontcha think ;)

I would not sell yourself short. If he is with you then obviously he wants to be with you. I would definitely stay with the average girl who has a good head on her shoulders. My experience with super hot chicks is that they are usually head cases from having everything handed to them all their lives, obviously I am sure there are plenty that are not like that it is just my experience. I enjoy someone for all aspects of them as a person not just looks alone.

My boyfriend has dated models before and I asked him about it and how I am soooo the opposite of a model and he said he knows how fake and shallow those girls are and how they aren't the kind of girl that stays with a man no matter what....I'm not drop dead gorgeous, but I know I'm not ugly....I get complimented all the time on how pretty I am, but I'm a thick girl and I do get insecure, because my man is pretty damn fine. So you're not alone in this.

You seem to have a lot to offer. If you're a afraid he'll leave you for a hot chick then make sure he's sexually satisfied, which means definitely sex twice week at the least, including oral. He doesn't have any reason to leave after that.

You're probably cuter/hotter than you think you are. Most girls are.
Now with that being said, if your bf leaves you for someone...
forget about him. I know that's easier said than done.
But you have a realistic outlook on life, it seems.
And you will have no trouble finding someone
who will appreciate that and be there
for the long haul... just like you.
But in all honesty, I don't think
he's goin anywhere. ^__^

id rather have a regular girl , because when u are a regular looking guy with a hot women people say whats she doing with him he must have money .
