Just try to calmly talk to her and make her understand that she raised you so well and that you could not do what the gossip said you did. Tell her to have faith in you because you are the half of her!

Just stick to the truth. Untill she believes you that's about all you can do. Unless you want to go to a Dr. to prove your point.

the more you deny and dwell on the subject the more your mother will think you did, just forget it and let her decide if she believes her daughter or gossip hounds!
