I have and recommend the Power of a Praying wife or the Power Of The Praying Husband book by Stormie Omartian but i would like to know what other ones are out there and are just as good and helpfuo for married people or relationships too. why is it that i cant seem to get a date, let alone a girlfriend? im 17, fairly good looking, smart, articulate, occasionally funny, and yet i cant for the life of me get a girl to notice me. i would also like to take this oppertunity, since i have a captive audience, to say that i live in florida, and any ladies between the ages of 16 and 18 interested in possibly meeting up should email me. thank you for your time.

Me and my boyfriend get along like best mates and we laugh and joke, very rarely aregue. We have been together two years and lived together for a year... He is too casual and never wants to do anything together and i have tried to speak to him about it and he says he will make more of an effort...but doesnt. For example of his friends birthday, his girlfriend arranged a night out with his friends and their girlfriend and he didnt want me to go!
Now i really have had enough and im not ugly and i always get always get fit boys liking me.. im wondering why i am spending so much time trying with someone who doesnt really appreciate me. I feel unwanted. Im in love with him, our sex life is fine and we get along as best friends... but because he has never tried to make an effort... i have given up and now he suddnely wants to make it work. I feel like his friend and not his girlfriend.

Should i move on or should i give it another go even though i am not sure i want to?

I have a very close friend that I have feelings for. She lives quite far away. I'm still attached to my ex-boyfriend that I know I can't be with and that is the foundation of all my despairs. I feel like running far far away possibly to another country (from the US) would be the answer to my problems. I just wish I could be far away from the temptation to see him. Last night around 2 in the morning my friend came to my house looking like someone hit her a lot. At first I thought it was her boyfirend, but last night she admitted it was her dad. So my parents let her stay at our house. My mom and dad are both doctors that work at a hospital, and they took her with them to the hospital this morning because she looked dyhydrated and she had tons of big bruises especially on her head that needs to get checked out. My dad said he will report her father to the police today and she will stay at our house for a while. What else can be done? please help me!!

okay, so my mom was gone for 5 days and while she was gone i went out with a guy that i wasn't supposed to and i told my mom that i was hanging out at this one girls house. anyways, the night ended really badly, and awhile after she got home from her trip she kept saying to me "your eyes look different, did something happen while i was gone?" and she'll be staring at me and then i'll be like 'what??' and she'll say "oh nothing...you just look different". and last night i saw that she had been looking at stuff on the internet about what to do when someone u know has been sexually assaulted (which is kinda along the lines of what happened with the guy i went out with). how the hell did she find out?? i don't wanna let her kno that i kno that she knos. the only way she sould have found out, was if she either read my diary or looked at the stuff that i was looking at online. both of which she said that she would never do because it would be an invasion of my privacy. what should i do???

I have a good friend whom I have a lot in common with, we can talk on the phone for hours about everything, and we always have a good time when we hang out. That is until he begins to inquire about us starting a romantic relationship together. Then I completely shut down and get very uncomfortable, because I don’t want to at all. He is cool, but I am not attracted to him at all. Not even a little bit.

I have never been able to openly reject guys, I’m more passive aggressive about it. But I don’t think he picks up on it or my nonverbal cues. Other friends have seen how I react when he tells me he wants to be with me and they say that I don’t seem interested at all. I’ve been passive aggressive with guys in the past and they usually take the hint and move on, but he just doesn’t get it.

What is his problem? And what do I do?
