I've found plenty of DJs but they where way to high priced for me.
I have waited 5 years for my special day and I want everything to be perfect. Please help me! I'm in the Robeson County area.

I am in Tennessee and I found one for 250 but he did not have current music and was picky on what he would play. Most DJ's around here cost around 500 and up. I would invest in a good cd changer, load it up with cd's and put it on random play. For the special songs, like first dance, etc..., I would have someone push the buttons for you.

i found my DJ for 200 dollars. he plays current music and I have seen him play in person. He played here in one of the local clubs until he pulled out because of all the fights. (Smart move in my opinion). Anyways, he is the husband of a friend of my bridesmaid. Because of that fact and because I knew some of his family, he is doing cheap....so maybe you can find someone along those lines with connections like that.

Ask any friends if they know someone who would do it for $300 thats knows their music pretty well. Free drinks and food for the night plus the $300 and I don't see why they wouldn't want to.

If you have time and the music collection, consider using an iPod to serve up your wedding day music for free. Details:

Be sure to read the linked CNET article for potential pitfalls--it's not for everyone. You'll need to delegate with this idea...someone you trust with the music, and you may also want someone to emcee.
