So, my girlfriend and i have been together for 7 years in a mostly long distance relationship, we went to seperate colleges have seperate careers (she is in Med School - I am in sales), both of us have felt like we needed a break at one point or another but we have never broken it off completely She actually did about 3 weeks ago.Tthere has been true love here the kind you may never find in a million years of searching. She decided that she loves me, but is no longer in love (for now). We still talk everyday and see eachother once in awhile, She is my bestfriend, but i can not just be friends with her. Right now there is no initimacy and she is having a real hard bieng intimate although she has been being warmer with hugs and actual passionate kisses. (these were not there 3 weeks ago) But she still needs to time. What else can i do to get her back...not convince her or trick her to love me, but get her to feel the same way.

Why is it that when you are filling up the waterguns the kids always give the first rule "No shooting water in my face" then when you hand them the watergun the first thing they do is shoot water up your nose and try to saturate your brain? lol. I just had a watergun fight with my 9 yr old. Summer sure is fun.

My husband shared with me that he has had thoughts about his ex-girlfriend a couple times a month every since they broke up. This was over 8 years ago. We got together shortly afterward and married right out of high school. He recently saw her and stopped to chat but said he felt a feeling in his gut like he was doing something wrong. What do you all think his problem is? Why would he still be thinking about this girl after this long. He was a freshman in high school when they dated, for crying out loud! He said they never had sex but came close to it. She broke up with him and they never really talked again. Could he have some unresolved issues from being dumped and not knowing why? Is he longing for the "old days"? He says the feelings he has are not sexual but that he simply reminisces about their relationship.

I have made the effert to call my dad and we have talked on the phone and then all of asunden he stoped calling me and when we did talk on the phone he keep telling me that he was going to come down and meet me and he has not done it yet!!!! and he dose not understand how much it hurts me that he has missed 21 years of my life and he dose not want to talk top me or meet me!

My boyfriend just broke up with me after being together 1year and 8 months together. He says that when he went to San Fran. with his family he figures out that he didnt love me anymore. He is a Jehovas Witness and says that he wants to go straight with his reigion. I feel more mad because he had broken up with me bacause a rumor he thought was true. He called me to say sorry and we were back together. i gave him money so he could spend on the trip. Now a week later he says that he doesnt love me. I dont know if i should even try again to get to him or should i just move on and try to forget him. i feel like he used me for my body and my money. I really dont know what to do. So please give me advice on what should i do. Im thinking on leaving town for 1 week so i can get m y mind off of him and figure if I really want to be with him.

I do not love him anymore, have had counselling and Dr put me on antidepressants but they made me feel muzzy so stopped taking them. When he is in the home I cant laugh, I only want to cry but try not to cos of the children. We have not slept in the same bed for 3 years, cos I usd to cry myself to sleep cos he wouldnt cuddle me. I have lost all respect for him, he is always moaning about lack of money but has never studied or tried to get a better paid job. He used to visit his Mum & Dad straight from work every night even when we were newly married, and he wont understand that that made me feel second rate. He has a growth in his abdomen, I took him to the Docs some years ago when it was a lot smaller and she said she would refer him to the hospital but he wouldn't go cos he is scared what else they would find! I told him that he was being irresponsible.
Anyone know how on earth I can get away or better still get him away?

Have you all heard about this? Husbands are allowed, actually encouraged, to spank their wives and make them stand in the corner for doing something wrong! Further, they give their wives "maintainance spankings" (which is in my oppinion just an excuse to beat their women when they feel like it, without needing a valid reason). This is not a light tap on the rump, either. These are real spankings, sometimes with belts or paddles, that may last for 20 minutes or more. Why don't these women see that this is abuse? I believe what it amounts to is a freakie religeous cult. What do you all think? I think these men should be arrested, and then beat themselves. This is not the dark ages, after all.

My boyfreind and I are both teachers. However, he does not take his job seriously and wants to leave the professsion, but he keeps doing unprofessional things like calling students demeaning names and does not put alot of effort into his lessons. His whole attitude stinks and he wasn't like this in college. The thing is I love him but I have no respect for him as a teacher. Is this healthy?

2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans. If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you.... chances are
that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go
for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights
and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you,
but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc.,
and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!)
The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in
on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.
a. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you.
If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.
5 A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor,
and in the back seat
B..) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door.
Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans
while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C..) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than
dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places
to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN!
The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then,
it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably ! in a zig -zag pattern!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP It may get you raped,
or killed.
9. Another Safety Point: Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late
and she thought it was weird. The police told her "Whatever you do, DO NOT
open the door." The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over.
The policeman said, "We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do,
DO NOT open the door." He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone
dropped off a baby He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls

I'm 23 yrs. old. My mom and I have been pretty close for the past few years until I got engaged to a wonderful man. My mom is a very over protective person. It seems as though she dosen't support the decisions I make for myself anymore. I am very responsable and pay my own bills, clothes, etc. There are times when she dosen't talk to me for days, when I try to talk about my wedding, which is not until 2008, she just changes the subject. My fiance and myself opened a savings account together to save for our wedding. When she found out she said I was very foolish and made a big mistake. I try so hard to talk to her about how I feel. But she dossen't want to hear it. She listens for a minute and walks away. Just recently we had an argument. I'm on my last thread and thinking about moving in with my fiance and his parents. But I don't know how to tell mom. What should I do?

last week me and my boyfriend made plans for today to hang out all day and we were gonna go out and have fun. but he got his work schedule over the weekend and found out he had to work today from 10 this morning to 8 at night. but i still thought he would come over afterwards and we would be able to hang out for a little bit.
but last night he calls and tells me after work his cousin is picking him up and they're gonna hang out. i got really mad because i feel like he's just blowing me off or something. today is about the only time we have this week to see each other. am i overreacting? i don't wanna be mad at him.. but i am. and we had this huge fight about it last night. i don't know what to do.

I recently got married to the greatest man in the world. He is everything I have ever wanted and more. I was married before to a man who cheated every chance he got and that has left some scars. I know just because someone gets married doesn't mean they no longer see. My problem is I always catch him staring at other women. Not just a glance or even a double take, really really stares- up and down! I feel like this is really disrespectful to me. I realize sometimes that it may just be me and my insecurities but I really feel like he does it excessively. I don't even like going places with him sometimes because I always end up feeling like crap by the time we get home. He says he doesnt' do this and even if he does he is coming home with me every night and that is all that matters. I don't believe he would cheat on me. How do I deal with this?
