Kiss the wife first. Affection between parents is very important for the children to witness (as long as its not too kinky of course) and it reinforces the fact that they have parents who love and value each other. It gives everyone more of a feeling of security in the home.

Kiss the wife while hugging the son...y not multi-task? I think it's important for families to be a unit. BUT if son meets you at the door upon arrival, say hello (hug, kiss, carry, whatever) on the way to find wife...if wife greets you first, hug and smooch her then find the kiddo...it all depends on who meets you first, I think.

i'd say it depends on the age of the son and the time of day, if you get home and the kid is running to hug you at the door obviously you acknowledge the kid first and that makes the wife smile anyway...if the kid is older and/or tucked into bed when you get there say hello to the wife and then go visit your son. i don't think any wife would mind that daddy says hello to his son before kissing her. moms love to watch their sons with their dad.

I guess it depends on your sons age. If he's still young, I would say hi to your son first. Then kiss your wife.

Your wife is old enough to understand whereas your son may not and be easily hurt if you say hi to your wife first.

Plus, you can make it all up to your wife once your son is in bed.

when you arrive home you greet both at the same time by saying hello family! I have missed you! How are you! Then you slip in the hugs and kisses to the first available family member. Then move on.

Depends on who's in the room; who approaches who first. Either are acceptable.
