I'm doing a project on the Savannah Biome...and I need facts.

What is man's impact?
Interesting facts.
And how is it spelled (Savannah, or Savanna)?

Thanks.

I mean think about it;

The Copernican theory wasn't allowed by the Catholic church because it would discredit them.

Much like the enviornmental "communists" who don't allow for scientific fact to impede on their hypothesis' on global warming.

Fact: global warming and cooling have ALWAYS happened
Fact: global warming and cooling are shown to be cause by multiple factors including heat from the sun (wow, go figure!)
Fact: The cold war era communists are INDEED at the forefront of the enviornmental movement; every little bit of government controlled ANYTHING is fuel for their fire.
Fact: Unfortunately there ARE people who fall for this crap and who in their hearts do mean good; but sorry, you didn't do your homework kids.

My question is just to see who does and doesn't agree with this.....

Please watch the hostility by the way, thanks!

Do as I say,not as I do,that should be the slogan for Big Al if he decides to run for president,his mansion alone consumes more energy than ten family homes,he was in the white house for 8 years as vicepresident and did nothing for this country when it came to saving energy,talk about a useless and expensive piece of furniture sitting in the white house

We have replaced most of the incandescent (traditional)
light bulbs in our house with energy saving compact flourescent light bulbs.
We are concerned with both global warming and energy usage. My question is, should we turn these bulbs out when we leave a room or leave them on? I am even unsure if we should leave them on at night rather than turn them on each morning? That is, which way provides the least impact on the environment and also uses the least energy.
