"We have just 10 years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet into a tailspin." and yet he has four houses ; a 10,000 sf, 20 room, 8 bathroom mansion in Nashville (just for Tipper and him) but that's not enough, they also have a 4,000 sf home in Arlington, VA, a home in Carthage, TN and a BRAND new high rise condo in San Mancisco. Additionally he flies around in a private jet, doesn't drive a hybrid and has mineral rights ($20k per month from Pasminco Zinc Mines) to the zinc mine that is under his house - this mine pollutes the local ground water. The issue here is not simply Gore's hypocrisy; it's a question of credibility. Giving up the zinc mine or one of his homes is not asking much, given that he wants the rest of us to radically change our lives.
