Betcha people will "give" you all sorts of scientific facts, links & so on--pro & con. I won't. Global warming is often assumed to mean we are getting hotter & hotter. It's far more complex than that. Look it up yourself so you can judge the "credibility" of it. Look at what is happening to antartica...& much, much more.

Is it a matter of climate shift or global warming.
Global warming means just that. Warming throughout the globe. If it is snowing in Malibu, then there may not be global warming. it may be a matter of the weather shifting from one part of the earth to another rather than global warming.
I wonder what the residents of Malibu think about Global warming!

Global warming takes a lot of time, like several decades or even an entire century, to notice a few degrees of difference. But the environment shows signs much more quickly, so global warming is happening, just much slower than people can notice. Just watch Al Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth"

If smoking is really bad for you, how come my uncle (who smoked 4 packs a day for 60 years) didn't die from it? Same sort of silly question. "Global warming" is a poor name for what's actually happening; while the mean global temperature is rising, the real threat is from the disruption of typical weather patterns, meaning probable higher highs AND lower lows.

via fact gloabal warming- as I comprehend it- would not disrut the warm/chilly season. it in basic terms intensifies them. for specific aspects of the international that have an rather warm summer time, very chilly winter, and the different 2 seasons can flow the two way- there seasons are seem very disrupted via fact those are frequently the cases of year the place the temps can certainly be reasonable. I stay in chicago. we had no winter for months and we've got a number of coldest temps in 20 years. our summers have been warmer as nicely- it in simple terms takes longer for summer time to fairly set in. i'm scared to work out what july would be like.

Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.
We are shrewing ourselves over for a buck.
Shooting ourselves in the herd.
Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the asparagus beetle.
For the almighty dollar we're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who deny it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.
Have a nice day.

Why is it so warm in Iqauit Nunavut on Baffin Island in the Canadian north? It's like this all across the Canadian arctic right now.
