OK, people have told me to do something about global warming, but I have a few questions about it! Please don't leave any details out! All the web sites are way too confusing! Thanks!

What is global warming?

What causes it?

What are the results of global warming?

How can I prevent it?

If any of you live on the west coast (of either Canada or the US) you'll have noticed we've been having some sketchy weather lately. For two months now, we've been battered by storm after storm bringing heavy rains and hurricane-like winds. In all the years I have lived on the west coast, never have I witnessed anything this crazy! And its not just the west coast thats suffering... All across the country and world it seems like there have been increasing reports of hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, hot weather, mild weather, etc... Is it just me or is global warming finally screwing us over, and why aren't we as humans doing anything to prevent it?!?!

We pollute the our home planet, our only source of life. Every day the earth is getting worse and worse. We humans have used our great knowledge for destruction. Pollution. We have to remember what we are doing. We are killing all life on Earth. No more fish, no more dogs, no more trees, no more beautiful blue skies, no more goregous mountains, no more family, no more friends, no more humans, no more life.

It's TOO late now, we set the fate for our planet.

what have we done????

This is a very debatable question that i have been thinking about for a long time. what is the best source of energy? I think it's between wind power and organic matter (old garbage or plants that is burnt, then the fire heats up water that boils and then the steam is used to power turbines, this also includes Ethanol) But i want to hear your thoughts on the subject!

After all nature eventually makes gas or oil aut of everything we dump and then leaks it into the enviornment. It seems to me it would be a lot better to make the oil and eliminate the landfill. It would solve several problems in one stroke. Why not steer a course in this direction?

10 events that have to do with consumption of natural resources. I have so far; first Earth Day, Exxon Valdez oil spill, and some act signed by George saying we can buy hybrid cars...

All I need are ideas, you don't have to go in-depth about them =)
