Come on people on a personal level. What changes have effected you by what is said to be global warming.
Did you let the dog out back to potty and he caught fire?
Did you make a jug of sun tea and when you put some over ice in your cup the ice melted quicker than the day before?
Or do you live at the beach and the ocean is 1 inch closer to your back door than last year?
I want to hear P E R S O N A L ACCOUNTS of what GLOBAL WARMING is doing to you.

relationship between social movements, population growth and living patterns? Can someone help me find a site that tells me a current social movement that addresses some aspect of population growth. Present a brief description of this social movement. Explain how the social movement is trying to affect social change? Explain how living patterns will be affected if this social movement is effective and explain how living patterns will be affected if this social movement is not effective. Be sure to include the three theoretical perspectives – functionalism, conflict theory and interactionism. I do not even know where to begin with this one. I found only one thing and that was this: http://earthtrends.wri.org/pdf_library/data_tables/pop1_2005.pdf but that site is for population and education.

A mountiain of scientific evidence is showing that global warming is actually happening. Almost every climate scientist in the world acknowldeges that the earth is getting warmer and greenhouse gases caused by humans is the primary cause. The effects could be devastating: drought, more powerful hurricanes, increased insect-born diseases to name a few. Our goverment says we must study the problem more before taking any action because of the impact on our economy. But according to a number of studies, we may be nearing a "tipping point" for the environment. Can we really afford to wait and see?

If it is true that the amount of cars in America are contributing to our earth's rapidly changing climate, then shouldn't we focus on the importance of developing this technology? If so, then what would be your advice for an average person like myself that wants to alert as many people as I can to vote elected officials into office that can actually pay attention to real problems facing us all?
