I have a suggestion. Is it fesible? Get all malls, grocery stores, wal-mart and other big place to plant trees every 20-40 feet apart. Plants shrubs or bushes all along the highways and interstates. I have heard from Dot.gov and the reason they do not have trees on these roads is due to accidents and shade would not melt show in the winter.

Its a question that has always plagued me...

If God created the Earth and all that stuff in the Bible is "true"... Then why is there no mention of dinosaurs, which science and research has proven, existed???

Many conservationist, including Greenpeace had tried hard to stop Japan and other pro-whaling country from killing more whales. Every year, a meeting by the International Whaling commitee decides if whaling can be increase and Japan is pushing to hunt more whales each year. Everyone knows whales are very rare creature and many countries, like USA, Australia and New Zealand use whale wathing to promote their ecotourism and had lots of profit from it.

On the other hand, Japan hunts so much whales that they cannot sell most of the whale meat. Mnay whale meat are left frozen in the factories for months or maybe years. Japan also tried to sell it to other countries but none will buy. Even more than 70% of Japanese citizen are against whaling. So why do Japan still wnat to kill whales?

How can we put more presure to the whole world to take action and make Japan's goverment to stop whaling since they are so stubborn?

I have heard many people on Answers say that technology will save us, as if technology in itself is some miraculous new fuel source that we can exploit when oil runs out. Energy is not the same thing as technology, so what's the deal?

It has been 780,000 years since the last time the Earth's magnetic field flipped polarity. A weakening of the overall field strength and an dramatic increase in the number of instabilities seem to indicate that a new flip is beginning. Are we biginning to see hot spots develop from solar radiation pouring in through weak spots? Will we eventually be exposed to radiation from the Van Allen belt?

I guess what i am getting at is that the earth has been here for billions of years, we could be going thru a cycle that naturually happens. I wonder also the effects of volcanoes, wildfires and other natural disasters that also contribute to global warming. Has anyone found out if we are seeing more of these type of things that DO have a big impact on our enviroment.

Ok besides the @ssholes who go into it for information gathering to rip off people (like ID theft), the other side of dumpster diving is for free stuff even eatable food. I will admit that a lot of people throw away working computers by sitting them beside the trash been so it only makes sense that someone re-uses them instead of sending the toxic materials to go in a junk yard.

Don`t you see that the earth is not going to be able to support us much longer. The ice caps are melting; this will flood the planet quickly. Then the sudden change in the water will destabilize the weather. There will be hurricanes that cover half the earth, the climate will be violent, the crust will be unstable. People can`t stay here, it’s not our fault, and it will go back to the way it was in time. But that won’t matter if to us if we are not hearing.
