Personally I dont think global warming is a problem, however in the last 50-100 years it has accelerated because of technology... If you think about it, If it wasn't for global warming we would still be in the last ice age temeratures would be freezing ever time you went outside... However still humans can still control the amount of harmful gases we put into the enviroment... The problem US can't do much 1 country won't make a difference remember there are over a billion people in china alone and 5.7 billion outside of the US first we have to convince the rest of the worlds population that there is a problem and get them involved then we can solve the problem... I am working on a few theories that the planet is on the verge of the next ice age... Sooner than one would think. And to slow down the effects and what might happen to the enviroment first step would be to stop the use of oils and gases and use renewable energy like ethanol...That would give a lot of places a big boost to stop global warming... Technology sped it up with the invention of cars, boats, planes, gas heaters... Now we have to use technology to slow it back down

The first step is to reduce the global greed on money and power mongers. Without the selfishness of these people, we can all focus on making the world a cleaner place to live.
Corporate executives and boards are clearly responsible for greed as the constant thirst for more and more money and power become the driving force in their existence.
I am not a liberal freak, but it is plain that this is a driving motive behind economic objectives.
The second major focus is the protection and maintenance of the Boreal Forest. This is the green band that wraps the globe near the northern frost line and provides 90% of the oxygen to the earth. Oil companies are destroying millions of acres of this valued resource every year in the quest for fossil fuel. This is a key factor in upsetting the critical balance of gases in our atmosphere, along with pollution.

I spot a flaw.
A carbon neutral calculation for me says I need to plant 16 trees per year just to account for the energy I use at home and in the car. That means that to plant enough trees to neutralise the carbon from the people of the unexpanded European Union and the US at 500 trees per acre (US reforestation standard) would mean covering 70% of the entire area of England with new trees every single year.
Not much of a solution.

Pour Iron over high nutrient/low chlorophyll zones in the ocean.
An experiment done in 1993 showed that in In two weeks, 1,000 pounds of iron produced the biomass equivalent of 100 full-grown redwoods, sucking 2,500 tons of CO2 from the sky.

the ONLY way to stop it.. that I can think of.. is to stop all volcanic action in the world.... or.. to capture all of the carbon dioxide as soon as it comes out of the volcano.. and feed it to plants under sunlight.
