I saw it and plan to see it again and would definitely encourage others to do so. The movie was entertaining and the information accurate. If nothing else, you will see Al Gore in a different light. My one criticism is that it does a very good job of articulating the climate change problem but is weak on presenting the solution. Since my job is about implementing solutions (and there are many good ones possible and cost-effective with today's technology), I want that message to get out as well.

Yes, in fact I have seen it twice and then went out and bought the book by the same title. It is an excellent movie and explains in easy to understand terms a very difficult and intricate subject. Our planet is struggling to survive and we must make a lot of changes soon if we are going to have a livable planet to pass on to out children and grandchildren. Big changes are taking place here on Earth right before out eyes because of global warming. We are in denial and have to face the music and react. It is a MUST SEE movies that everyone should see!

I saw it. It is probably the most important film I will ever see in my lifetime. It was very entertaining, informative, inspiring and frankly scary.
I know a movie that's plot is Al Gore giving a slide show sounds like it would deadly dull. But it was not. Gore is funny, articulate and passionate. I highly recommend seeing it whether you like Al Gore or not.
I have noted that in the answers of the critics they do not claim to have seen the movie.

I saw it. It was very informative and gives a message of hope at the end. You should see it. Everyone should see it. Then, everyone should act on it and make changes to lower their energy consumption and pollution production.
One thing not mentioned was Global Dimming caused by particulate air pollution. This is cutting down on the amount of sunlight reaching the earth.

Boring and misleading, yes sorry to break the news...but global warming is a theory and not an established fact that it is happening.

It was thought provoking. Everybody needs to see it. It dispels all doubt that global warming is here, then it goes into its consequences, and then it offers solutions and hope.
