A tornado, also known as a twister, is when extremely strong winds spin in a circle. This circle is usually pretty small - almost always under a mile wide.
A hurricane, also known as a typhoon, is a large storm system that produces high winds and heavy rain. These systems can be huge - hundreds of miles wide. In the US, we call these storms hurricanes. In Asia, they are called typhoons.

A twister and a tornado are the same thing, just called differently in different regions. Same with hurricanes and typhoons. In the western hemisphere, poeple refer the the huge tropical storms as hurricanes, while in the eastern hemisphere, mostly asia, they are referred to as typhoons. Typhoon comes from Chinese and means great/big wind, These storms are much more massive than tornadoes, which are fairly localized. Both can do much damage to the areas where thet strike.

Tornadoes and twisters are the same.... whe a warm front and a cold front of air collides, the denser air begins to sink bringing the lighter air with it... This begins creating the tornado/twister.... A hurricane is a strom in which High gusts of winds form a spiral of fast-moving air... Hurricanes develope at the ocean and always have what's called the eye, the center of the hurricane in which there is no wind, rain, or clouds... Hurricanes bring LOADS of water with them and once it reaches a shore, it literally lets it all out!!! A Typhoon is essentially a fancy word for LOTS OF RAIN!

They are all different names for wind disturbances above earth's surface. The difference lies in wind speed. Depending upon maximum wind speed attained during disturbances, phenomenon is differently named.
