GLOBAL WARMING... the biggest worry on our minds right now, and for most people. But one thing that all political figures lack is care for the environment. We need their help. But why dont they listen?

I am asking what each individual person can do, and what you may already do. I hope this question will bring good ideas out for everyone to use.

Environmentalists claim that hydrogen vehicles don't release any gasses that are harmful to the atmosphere. In fact, the only emmission is water vapor. But Water Vapor is BY FAR the most effective greenhouse gas there is. In fact, careful studies of scientific evidence show that Carbon Dioxide is ESSENTIAL to pleasant life on earth. CO2 could increase 4 fold and still not be detrimental to life on Earth. Other studies have shown that higher temperatures cause higher CO2 levels that walk step in step, but offset by 800 years.

So I don't think CO2 is the problem. My question is, that if Water Vapor accounts for the highest percentage of the greenhouse effect, then why would we want to make a fuel taht releases more water vapor????????????

Watch this video: (WMV or MOV)

http://www.friendsofscience.org/index.php?ide=3

Doesn't this make you question your global warming claims? There's plenty of evidence in the videos. I'm not asking you to believe the video, but at least watch it, and think about it. If it doesn't make you question your current claims, I don't see how you could possibly be listening to the evidence.

Anyway, what do you think?

There is plenty of evidence regarding the link between CO2 emissions and global warming. But what about the heat generated by running an internal combustion engine? Running a car's engine for even a few minutes heats up the air around it quite a bit. Given the number of vehicles on the road, does that heat generated contribute in any measurable way to global warming as well?

I appreciate this forum, but question the priorities of society its categories imply. Based on questions & answers people have posted, many Yahoo users are clearly awake, aware, and very concerned about the future of humankind and the planet in general. Our collective fate rests largely in how we treat our global life support systems -- our environment. Yet this forum, like much of our society, occupies so much time and energy with "concerns" over comparatively trival things such as "Beauty & Style, Consumer Electronics, Games & Recreation, Sports," etc... The longer we keep ignoring the REALLY BIG PROBLEMS we face, the less likely we'll be to reverse or solve them. Why isn't "Environment" a major heading here, and in the larger context of society? Shouldn't we, as a people, start making this a primary focus of our attention? If we don't sustain our global life support systems, nothing else will matter. You found this under Science & Math. How many others bother to look here?

In the interests of not seeing us go into an economic depression and the humanitarian needs of the world:

Mr Bush: I challenge you to a debate. Via video conference. Subject matter: World Affairs, US Economy, Poverty, Medicine, insurance, disaster response, terrorism, humanities future.

I will show up anywhere you want, no preparation, no prompters, no speech writers. Just you and me. VIa tele conference.

I challenge you to a duel sir.
I choose the weapon. Wits. An open live debate.

I want to speak for those that I speak to. Let the average American have a voice for once. Give me the opportunity and I will explain to you some of the things we could do to make our country the best it could be.

Honestly, Mr. Bush, I commend, as will historians, the major incentives you have given America to produce new business. Now I have the next part of that plan. The implementation. Let's have a good old fashion sit down.
