They are on different spectrum of the animal kingdom. Lion is a predator and zebra is a prey. Zebra eats grass, and lion eats zebra.

See how hard it is for humans to get along and we don't even eat each other.

Lions can't get along with any animals. They even fight among themselves. Carnivores are aggressive. That's just the way it is. It's not the fault of the zebras.
