It depends on what you want to do when you finish school and how long you want to be in school. I would look more into the environmental and chemical engineering as well as looking at programs in ecology, botany, chemistry, and environmental science (not environmental studies).

One thing I recommend you do is go to your prospective colleges and buy an undergraduate catalog (at least that is what they call it at my college.) It has information on every major the university offers, all the requirements of the major, and information on all the classes the university offers.

Just browsing through mine, I'd recommend choosing a major in the college of geosciences (sometimes call earth sciences, natural sciences, or whatnot.) Environmental Geosciences will teach you about Earth natural resources and environmental policy. Environmental Studies will focus more on the human interaction with the environment. A major in Meteorology will usually cover all of atmospheric sciences including atmospheric chemistry and physics.

I don't think Geography or Geology are what you are looking for. Geography is very people oriented, and studies cultures and such more than the environment. Geology is just the study of rocks. Most positions in this field will be with companies that want to build on or dig up the Earth, and much higher degrees (PhD.D. or such) will be required if you want to do research.

Geography, but go for a BS not BA. That's what I study but i'm more intersted in the earth sci part. Geography is the bridge between natural and scocial sciences. geography translats from greek as wriiting (graphy) about the earth (geo). Everthing and anything about the earth is under the umbrella of geography! it's the bomb digity! Check out the book "Why geography Matters" by Harm diBlij
