Let's assume: the engine is a 4 stroke 2500 cc 6 cylinder gas engine and at 60 mph, it is turning 2500 rpm's; in one minute, the engine would turn 2500 revolutions and the car would travel 1 mile. Therefore, driving one mile is equal to 2500 revolutions of the engine. Each revolution of the engine combusts 3 cylinders worth of fuel, 2 revolutions will combust all 6 cylinders. If all 6 cylinders combust, then 2500 cc's of breathable air has been turned into poisonous exhaust. If the engine converts 2500 cc's of air into exhaust every 2 rpm's, then in a mile, it will convert (2500 rpm's/2)*(2500 cc's of air) = 3,125,000 cc's, or 3,125 liters of air into exhaust every mile. If 100,000,000 cars in the U.S. drive 10 miles every day, then 3.125 trillion liters of breathable air is turned into poisonous exhaust every day.

1) How many liters of breathable air is there in the world?

2) How long can this go on before the oxygen level is so low that we all choke to death?

Air in motion as wind is an energy source that is readily captured and few realize how heavy in terms of mass weight air actually is. Knowing this also helps in understanding how airplane wings create lift. Please tell others about the answer when you have learned it.

If the Earth was ever destroyed because of global warming, pollution, or some other reason, and we couldn't live on the land anymore, should the human race go live under the ocean or in space? We could only do one or the other, but both have problems, like pressure, gravity, temperature, and many other things. What do you think we should do?

Recent studies have shown a heat spike occurred during the 21 century. The main reason is human activity, which we all know what they are. Do you think Earth will end up like Mars in the future? If you think about it, carbon dioxide has increased in the last couple years. The atmosphere is getting weaker causing more sun light. Also increase in hurricanes which are more violent. If you compare this to the environment on Mars you find quiet a bit of similarities. Is this possible or am I worrying too much.

I had read somewhere that it's between 16 and 20. Is that per year or in a lifetime? Does that include all of the paper/wood products you consume?
