This song got me crying like a little kid and makes me think that there is hope in life.... I LOVE ALL OF Y'ALL.. I was wondering, you ever felt that way about something, anything. Doesn't Have to be a song.

A song put out around 1933. Not a Jazz song, but it seems played around Jazz circles. It's a ballad. Anyone know any good female singers who sang this? Any good recordinds of it on CD's.

I'm trying to find a recording I once heard of the big band classic "In the Mood" that was sung using nothing but the sound of clucking chickens. Anyone?

I'm looking for something with no singing...upbeat, with some slow songs. Also where are the best places to get them. I need kind of a couple of upbeat rhythms for my spoken word peaces.

The groups were phenomenal, from the Allman Bros, already established stars, to Billy Joel, still a warm-up band. People played from early morning, Dr. John and J.Geils Band, excluded, till the next day, jazz flutist, Herbie Mann and Alice Cooper. There was once a recording of festival highlights, mostly single songs by each band, though Jonathan Edwards got more than one song. Is "Mar y Sol" available on CD? (It was originally an Atlantic recording.)

There's a remake of Mercy, Mercy me (the ecology) by a female jazz singer who came out some years ago. She has a nice jazzy voice and does some scatting in the song. Does anybody know who she is and what the name of the album was? Thanks.

Okay
I'm off to school in less than an hour
spaced off on my English assignment last night.
We have to interpret song lyrics.
Either jazz or blues.
I picked B.B. King and wanted to do the song "Lucille" but I can't find the lyrics anywhere.

So, right about now you could help me a lot if you can either give me the song lyrics to B.B. King's "Lucille" or if you could please tell me another good B.B. King song I might use?
Thanks so much! :]

Is this part of technique? If so, does it differ across the various wind instruments out there?

Does it contribute to the player's unique sound eg. Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Blue MItchell all have their own distinctive and recognisable sound, irrespective of what genre they're playing, and they're all trumpet players, so must share some common traits in body posturing, despite their individuality.

It's an instrumental song that used to get played a lot during sports highlights shows and going to commercial breaks (during sporting events), and I remember hearing it a lot back in the 80s. Very obscure, I know, but any ideas???
