after the 60's???

Well these groups formed after the 60's and had an extreme emphasis on vocals:

- Manhattan Transfer
- New York Voices

Most others are individual vocalists, not "groups"
However, my favorite group is Lambert, Hendricks, Ross.... but they formed during the 60's.

The only one I can think of that used vocals for the most part was Steely Dan. They did start out as a jazz band. Otherwise, the only other jazz groups I can think of are Spyro Gyra and Hiroshima but they were mainly instrumental groups.

One of my alltime favorite groups......not really jazz, but surely jazz influenced is Chicago. Great vocals. Another of my favorites is Bob James. I knew him back in the day before he went and got himself famous. Good keyboard man and a really nice guy. Wait a minute.......just thought of a few great vocal jazz groups. The Hi Lo's or High Lows Lambert, Hindricks and Ross, Earth, Wind and Fire

The Singer's limitless is a miles less commonly used yet mind-blowing group. the long island Voices are, returned, like a youthful, extra sassy version of ny flow, yet they constantly have their sh*t mutually, whether that's stay or on a recorded soundtrack. additionally, the King's Singer's is an all male group that's relatively gifted and does truly cool products, in spite of the shown fact that it truly is often extra choral!
