classic Jazz recorded between the years 1923 and 1931, performed by using smaller gadgets (4-9 musicians). My renowned musicians are: Bix Beiderbecke, youthful Benny Goodman (-1933), youthful Louis Armstrong (-1930), Jack Teagarden (-1933), Frank Teschemacher, youthful Gene Krupa (-1931), Annette Hanshaw, pink Nichols (-1930), Adrian Rollini (-1930), Jabbo Smith (-1929), early Duke Ellington, (-1929), youthful Billie vacation (-1937), Miff Mole (-1929) even with the very undeniable reality that i like also Hardbop and NuJazz, i'm more desirable into that old stuff. If i'm not listening to jazz, it truly is classical music consisting of Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Stravinsky, Ravel, Rachmaninoff.. My extreme opinion on xylophone is that i don't like it as a jazz device. Milt Jackson and Lionel Hampton will be exceptions yet i'm not a lot into xylophone...

If you're talking about instrumentalists and
vocalists separately, I'd have to go with Bud Powell, Count Basie,John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea to name a few instrumentalists.

Regarding the vocalists, Billie Holiday, Carmen McCray, Sarah Vaughn, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett are at the top of my favorites list.
