Hi, I have an essay due in two weeks s[o i still have time to think about it.] but i just wanted to see what you people would come up with.
So ! i have to write a PROCESS essay: i have to teach something to the class. [like how to make cinnamon rolls(thats the teacher's exemple..) or how to draw something...etc..] so yah i'm gonna be reading my paper to the class and one person is going to follow the instructions i give them by reading my essay and they have to make the thing im explaining to them in less than 8 minutes.. yeah i don't have that much time... So my question is, What could i teach that is easy and takes less than 8 minutes? keep in mind this is a 9th grade class...
Thank you !

Was wondering how good or bad a small school is for a child. I have two kids, one going in 1st the other going in 6th. The school they will go to next year is really small. The 1st and 2nd grade are together with one teacher. The 5th and 6th are also in one classroom with one teacher. I know smaller classrooms can be wonderful for children. Giving them more personal attention. But I don't know how I feel about two grades being together. How much they will learn for their grade. I know they leave the classroom for certain classes, and that is when the principle of the school teaches them those classes. The first grade will have 7 children and the 6th will have 8. Let me know your views on this please. Thanks

I have to turn my resume in with a grant proposal. What type of items would you include to fluff up/make look interesting a educators resume. I haven't rewritten my resume in years and I would like some feedback.

It's almost a challenge to read some of the questions and answers at this site because so many can't spell or punctuate. I can't help but think it has to be a problem teaching proper English. It seems that people is really spelled ppl. I can't say much because I have grandchildren who are doing this, too. English was my favorite subject in school and college and I cringe when I come across someone who does a lot of text messaging. It's obvious by all the abreviations and misspellings. How do you get the students to use proper spelling, grammer and punctuation?

Good luck to you.

ok arm all the students to stop gun violence. ok now what? your in class and you hear gun shots and screaming in the hallway . what you don't see is that a student has shot a" wild eyed gunman" who was shooting kids. just then the "hero" comes in the classroom covered in blood carrying a gun, and the class opens up on him to "protect" themselves. a gun in a untrained hand is deadly to the user as well as the target. how about we give the teachers fully-auto weapons so the students can't over power the teacher. oh yeah the principal should tactical nukes to keep the teachers under control. how do we know that the V.T. gunman wasn't shooting people who HE considered a threat? who has the right to shoot who for what reason?
