Check out your local public school education center or personel office, go straight to them and try to apply for a job, they will have the specifications for every job opening announcement. Good luck!

With No Child Left Behind, an Associates Degree is required to be a TA for most schools, especially low performing schools. The sad part is that nowadays they really dont offer many hours for TA's which makes it very hard to hire someone in the first place. Why would somebody who has an AA work for 4 hours? Unless you are thinking about pursuing teaching then its a great way to gain experience. Of course, it differs from school district to school district and also from state to state. I recommend you visit different school districts websites. Here's an example of one but this is a district in CA. http://www.rusd.k12.ca.us/hr/class/class_process2.html
Good luck :D

I don't think most T.A.'s need a college degree. But check your local school districts' human resources webpages to get that info.

In Georgia you don't have to have a college degree. You have to take a test though.

You can try kindergarten private schools. or community college if there is one in your location. You probaly will not receive any compensation, you know, schools are rich in education, but not in money.
