I've been asked to teach a 15 year old how to drive.

Aside from just practicing, I was wondering if anyone can offer ideas to make the lessons enjoyable and somewhat structured. How can creative can one get? Anyone? I'd really like to make this memorable, fun, and effective.

My neighbor asked me to teach her son how to search for books and information as effectively as possible. I understand he said he doesnt know how.

Well, although I think the answer is pretty obvious, I'd like to narrow it down to a few main things and go down the list so that I can teach him and then give them all the list so that the whole family knows how to search for books and information.

How would you structure such a training session?

What are the basic rules and exceptions when using / z / instead of / s /? For instance, IS is pronounced with a /z/ while HOUSE is just /s/.

I'm thinking of reporting the Resource teacher at my school to the Department of Education. She never shows any work that proves the students are making progress, she writes goals for students even though they haven't been tested, and every time report cards are due she goes on vacation, so she never has to report any progress to the teachers. I've talked to our principal about it, but nothing ever changes. The kids are getting screwed because she doesn't care about their progress, and the teachers are getting screwed because they never see how their students are doing while in resource. I don't call her the Resource teacher. I call her the Liability teacher. Should I report this fool to the state?

Do you play well even though you taught yourself? Did you have to learn all that crap that piano teachers teach you, but you rarely use? We recently wen swimming as a class and my teaacher cam inside of the pool. This isn't so bad...BUT SHE CAME OUT IN A BIKINI! She has her HUGE boobs nearly out of it, showing A LOT of cleavage. And to make matters worse, the boys had to change in hte same room as hte teachers, without any stalls. WHY ARE TEACHERS SO MEAN ALL THE TIME?? I JUST DON`T GET IT. I HAVE THIS ONE TEACHER (SHALL NOT BE NAMED) AND SHE JUST IS ALWAYS ON MY BACK ABOUT STUFF.
