Consider yourself lucky. Later in life when all of your dry-skinned friends start to look very old, you'll still have a youthful glow.
But for now, try washing twice a day and apply an astringent toner to the very oily areas. Also, carry a compressed powder compact to tone down the shine when you are out. Or you can slip into the restroom and blot your face with a tissue or toilet paper to absorb excess oil. Go very light on make-up and freshen up frequently.
I've complained about the same problem for many years, but I saw some of my old classmates recently and they look OLD! (Snicker snicker tee hee) ;-)

You don't. I have oily skin and I can't get rid of it but I try to manage how bad it is. You can be the cleanest person in the world and still have it so the answer of not being very clean doesn't really fit.
When I go shopping, I try to find facial scrubs that are for oily skin and I find this helps to control it. I have had to have pictures done and I try to wash my face before it. I don't know how effective the apple cider vinegar remedy would be as vinegar dries out your skin. Water helps. When you buy makeup - if you are a girl, look for some for your skin type. Try to buy a cream for your skin type. You can have oily hair as well and try to buy shampoo's for that. When I buy facial scrubs, I get one for oily skin and also the one that has some grit to it like St. Ives. It is a great product line and has scrubs for all skin types.

You can't ever get rid of oily skin. Just blot your skin with tissues before pictures or throughout the day to prevent that shiny look.

The best thing I found for oily skin is witch hazel. Unlike most products, it is not as harsh on your skin and does not cause redness like a lot of products.

This works for me :)
Put apple cider vinegar on your face as a toner at night. It will balance the ph in your skin and fight bacteria to prevent break outs. I also drink acv diluted in tea (about 6 tbsp a day) and it is supposed to help from the inside also.

Been there. People will tell you to wash and wipe with all kinds of stuff and that is good to cleanse but use moisterizer afterwards. Eventually, your skill will adjust to not being overly dry(after cleaning with all that stuff) and not make so much oil. The cleansing is necessary to thwart the zits.
