Given that our children aren't learning how can anyone say that teachers are under paid? Will giving the current teachers more money make them better teachers? Or do we need to fire the current teachers who are obviously failing and raise the teacher starting salary to attract people who are intelligent enough to get the job done?

What is the difference between when and while?
i was taught that " progessive tense+ while+progessive tesnse"

"when" can not be followed by a progessive tense clause
(but i still see many sentences like that)

Have you ever had a reallllyyy awful teacher that you HATE and they despise you. well... i do. and i dont know what to do about it. shes my english teacher and now i dont like going to english cuz she picks on me and yells at me. shes the worst teacher ive ever had in my whole LIFE but shes nice to the stupid kids like BILLY and TREVOR but im smarter then them soooo i get treated poorly?

he refuses to read a chapter in a biology book about it because he does not believe in it. I feel strongly that he needs to understand what the theory is even if he does not agree with it. I feel so strongly that i have grounded him until he reads the chapter and and then discuss it. he thinks this is unfair. i am interested in hearing what other people think about my position.

A. The aide discusses what he has learned from his students about their families with other teacher aides.
B. The aide discusses her problems regarding the assigned teacher with another aide.
C. The aide keeps confidential whatever happens in the classroom.
D. The aide has a problem regarding his assigned teacher, but refuses to talk to the teacher about it.

PS this is not home work, It is pre set studies guide. It will not be graded. but it is some thing I should know.

Also, do teachers with degrees in subjects other than education that get their alternative certification, make the same amount as teachers that major in education? If I get a bachelor's degree in business, biology, or another area and go back and get my alternative certification, how long will it take? Would it be better if I just get my bachelor's degree in education?

i'm doing a career report on our future careers and i want to be a 9th grade language arts teacher. i'm interested in this for myself and for my research paper. can anyone who is a teacher or is going to school to be a teacher tell me how much schooling is needed? how long does it take to actually be a teacher after all of the student teaching? what is an approxoment annual salary? is teaching freshman THAT hard? with all of the lesson plans and all? is it hard to grade 100's of papers? thanks for help...also is there anything i should know about it? I am a great writer. I love writing in general, such as, writing stories, grading essay papers and writing poems.

Book writers, that's Not a career I can depend on for the rest of my life. English teacher for high schools, that's nothing but stress and headache. English teacher in college, that will make me nervous everyday.

I wanted to become a journalist but they don't get paid that much.

Do pre-school kids have English teacher? Do Elementary school kids have English teacher?
