Whatever they accomplish, it is not the knowledge per se, it is the discipline of starting, doing the middle, and the ending that has value. I have had 5 kids and Science Fair was always a trial.

The value is the effort put in and the completion of tasks even if they seem laborious or tedious.

Life is a learning process.

There is a great joy after completing the project.

I think that the knowledge they get from doing something so complex at such an early age givens them confidence that they can do bigger jobs later on.
