I am starting to substitute this year and I am the kind of person that gets really nervous until I am actually in the game. Well i havent been called yet, since the school just started but I am a nervous wreck about going in. What should I expect ( Its K-5 ) and does anyone have any advice?

I'm in a custody battle and my childs 5th grade teacher sent a letter full of lies to my ex ( school records reflect differently.) Now she has called social services and they had to go out and talk to my kids, who are now embarrassed (we live in a small town). I have called the school board and they have done nothing. What should I do. They are hurting my kids!!!

Ok, I teach a flag team and the "captian" has a horrible attitude as well as some other team memebers. I have a total of 6 flag memebers. The capitan is rude and has the worst attitude of all. One just complains and always wants to go on break and cut practice early, and it just seems weak. They are full of drama and I hate it now that I have dealt with it for about 4 weeks or so. Almost a month. I finally realized damn, do they even want to be in flags? From the looks of it and the vibes I get seems like they dont. They didnt even know basic drop spins, they didnt know anything really. Their coach before taught them wrong stuff. I have told the band director a couple times, but I'm starting to lose it. I'm stressing on this. What do I do? I have tried to be more stern and that doesn even work. I dont want them to quit but their attitdues towards the sprot is sooo negative I want to quit! What do I do?

I was in lessons today and urgently needed the loo (female problems) i had a male teacher and so i felt too embarassed to say anything about why i had to use the loo and he wouldn't let me go. What are your opinions on letting kids out to use the loo?

I'm so tired of people with bad people skills and unprofessionalism.

Its like human resources never taught them how to behave to customers or even how to value a customer.

I learned my skills through Chick-fil-A and from people who cared about their customers.

This just came to me. Do you feel like high schools should teach a life skills class that focuses on people skills, professionalism, good business conduct, and so on?

I feel that a class such as this would benefit everyone who took it.

What do you feel? Would it help or be a waste of time and education funds?
