it means you shouldn't make up your mind about something until you've experienced it.. it'd be like someone who has never tried Sushi saying "I hate Sushi".. how would they know they hate it if they never tried it? Hope this helps! :)

It means that you should not make a decision before considering the facts of the matter.

It is a play on words using legal terms like 'judge' and 'trial'

Is it wise, or smart to pre-judge someone as being guilty or innocent without first knowing all the facts? That's what it really means.

In other words, first impressions aren't always the right one.
