Any tips for high school? I know you take a notebook and pen, but do you take a calculator? What about a graphing calculator? And how do you handle high school? Anyone have tips on how to manage time? What about studying strategies? I'm so scared!

I want to put together a network of teachers to use as a resource for my class to gather information from other places. I am still in school, but I thought I would start early so that I could have time to establish a relationship with willing teachers. If you are interested, please let me know what you teach and where you are from.

I really want to be involved in clubs/sports. I don't think I am good enough for any sport, but I think I could try indoor track and outdoor track. Should I?

But also, I want to either join a club or start my own. I could either join SADD, stage crew, or other clubs.

i kind of want to start a Foreign Film Club at school too. Or if anyone has a different idea? Please?

Thanks!

In Wake County, NC, there is a big controversy over moving as many as 23 schools to the year-round scheduling in order to increase the number of students that can be accomodated without building quite as many more new schools. How can that type of scheduling make more room? It seems to me that 1 kid=1 kid no matter when they attend.

So I'm taking AP biology this year and some other AP courses next year (don't want to overload myself this year) and I'm actually kind of worried. I am a very intelligent student, but this year (grade ten) I didn't do as well as I could have in science. I think that had something to do with the fact that grade nine and ten science are really just jokes. In any case, I'm worried that I could fail. Is there anyone here who has any good or reassuring advice on what I can do to ensure that I pass, not only the course, but also the exam?

Hey there! Me and my fellow senior (we go to a small school) are planning a senior trip to Utah. But we have to take a chaperone with us so there's an EXTRA person to pay for..our goal is to raise 4600 dollars and that does not count any spending money we may want! SO, we need some fundraising ideas, we have a few but we estimate only a couple thousand can come from them all combined! We still need half of the trip paid for! Do you have any ideas on how we can get the money?? Please?

I'm writing a paper about African American hardships for school and I keep on using the terms "freedmen," "freed slaves," and "African American" to describe blacks so as to behave politically correct. However, my paper sounds redundant using those terms over and over again. Are there any other politically correct terms for blacks? Thank you in advance.
