this is a pretty stupid question, but i just want to know opinions of different people. and also please let me know your major.

why college might be easier
-less classes = more time
-studying something you like and are good at
-you don't have to go to school everyday

I'm living in P.R, and I'm thinking about studying at Illinois specifically UIC. I have been studying for the SAT, but most of the applicants to UIC take ACT. Should I take it also? The burden that I might bear is that I will also study for another college admission test given here so that I can have a variety of options to choose. SO I'm between UIC and UPR. UPS is my 2nd option.

I am a freshman in high school so I wouldn't normally be asking a question about college but I need to. I have a 3.3 grade point average at the moment and it will probably be higher by the end of the semester. My father says that UC Davis won't except me without a 4.0. Is this true? Because I have no other ways of finding out and I really want to go to UC Davis and train to become a vet.

Because I hadn't learn much in geometry and trigonometry from my previous high school years..I need answers from student majoring in graphic design or related field, what exactly type of math do I need to prepare for college? Or I don't have to worry anything because the courses will cover up the math's basis in college?

hi. I'm a math major college student who's thinking about applying for PhD. Well, It's really hard to make you understand but actually only thing I need right now is a formal admission letter from any school(in US) for PhD program.

I'm an international student and it is time to go to mendatory military service back in my country for 2.5 years.
If I just show a formal admission letter of PhD program, I can avoid mendatory military service.(Don't call me a *****.. )

I'll get a formal admission letter.. show it to my country and I might just get a job or go for profession master degree instead. But I need to get into any of math program.

I go to pretty ok school in US. I go to top 10 liberal arts college. But since I'm not a super good student I wonder which program would be the easiest to get in. I'm thinking about pure math phD or statistics phD or Education in math phD. Which one is the easiest to get in?
