Is it true that if you complete an A.A. degree, a university MUST accept you?

Of course not. If they did -- don't you think that Harvard and Princeton would be over-run with transfer students. Princeton doesn't accept ANY transfer students.

What IS true is that most state universities must set aside slots for students who complete a program at a community college. Some states may have a rule that SOME public university must accept you if you are a resident of that state and complete your AA.

No, a university does not HAVE to accept you because you completed your A.A. Degree. You have to apply and be accepted no matter which degree you have earned.

I have been to AA. The folks in my group have accepted me.

No, it's not. But if they do, they will usually waive all of the general education requirements.

They don't absolutely have to, but you will be considered above other applicants and your chances are really high of getting in.
