hi. I'm a math major college student who's thinking about applying for PhD. Well, It's really hard to make you understand but actually only thing I need right now is a formal admission letter from any school(in US) for PhD program.
I'm an international student and it is time to go to mendatory military service back in my country for 2.5 years.
If I just show a formal admission letter of PhD program, I can avoid mendatory military service.(Don't call me a *****.. )
I'll get a formal admission letter.. show it to my country and I might just get a job or go for profession master degree instead. But I need to get into any of math program.
I go to pretty ok school in US. I go to top 10 liberal arts college. But since I'm not a super good student I wonder which program would be the easiest to get in. I'm thinking about pure math phD or statistics phD or Education in math phD. Which one is the easiest to get in?

Personally math was never my greatest subject until I met my friend statistics. I thought stats was a lot more interesting than some of my other math counterparts. A doctorate degree in statistics could benefit you in the actuarial science field. However, if your not a good student I don't know how you could get into a doctorate program or even a masters.
