I m planning to start from a community college, then university and major in graphic design. So what math do I need to learn along the way?
My teacher said we'll need to do both English& Math with our major& minors in colleges, will I need to know basic maths in Geometry and Trigonometry? Because I hadn't learn much in geometry and trigonometry from my previous high school years..I need answers from student majoring in graphic design or related field, what exactly type of math do I need to prepare for college? Or I don't have to worry anything because the courses will cover up the math's basis in college?

Algebra, Chemistry, Logic, Geometry, Trig...

You should get a tutor who can help with your math block. I used to have one but don't have one anymore. Go to Borders, Barnes and Noble or http://www.amazon.com and get a math book to help with those who hate math.

They will promise your success. It worked for me. I feel your pain, but BELIEVE you will be one graphic designing rich person one day.

A career in Graphic design is really dependent on which route you wish to follow. Graphic Design in freelancing can be somewhat profitable and is an excellent way to gain experience in working in the industry (keep in mind that freelancing offers no health care benefits, and you are at the mercy of the client when it comes to remembering to pay you for a completed project) however, acquiring a job as a full time graphic designer is a tiresome and rigorous process, but I guess that can be applied to any given career. I agree with your grandmother, selecting a double major is something you definitely need to consider. Never hurts to have a back up option, especially since graphic design is a very competitive field to break into.
